| Exemplar Green Building - the new Greenshop eco-build is now complete and the official opening by Jonathon Porritt will be in April 2008. The building is timber framed and super insulated, naturally ventilated and heated by solar and log boiler via underfloor heating. |

Interiors throughout use natural finishes. Wooden floors from FSC oak in the upstairs offices and hard wearing bamboo in the showroom. All paints and finishes are from Auro UK's range of natural paint products. The design ensures there is maximum natural lighting in all the interior offices, for example the use of a celestory (a row of windows just under the eaves) gives good daylighting in the main office.
