Bryan Roe, Paint Manager at the Greenshop, speaks at Ecobuild on Wednesday 27^th Feb at 12 noon: Accoya Theatre: Eco Interiors: design and materials

In the seminar that starts at 10.30am on Wednesday 27^th February, Bryan Roe, Paint Manager at the Greenshop and Pam Macdonald from the Natural Decorating Company will be speaking about using natural paints and finishes: an easy guide.

Covering topics from the difference between natural paints and conventional paints, what the health benefits are for using natural paints, environmental benefits and use in both domestic and commercial situations, Bryan and Pam will give a thorough overview of the market for natural paints at present in the UK.

Discussions within the presentations will include factors around renewable raw ingredients; the closed cycle of ecology; lower energy in manufacturing; issues around biodregradability and compostability, and the economics of using natural paints.

Bryan Roe has been the Paint Manager at the Greenshop Group since 2003 and the Greenshop is one of the largest suppliers of natural paints in the UK. Auro Paints were voted "Favourite Ethical (DIY) Product" in Ethical Consumer magazine and Green Paints was nominated the best buy for paints in Which? Magazine.
With the Greenshop and Auro gaining regular mentions in national newspapers from The Daily Telegraph to
the Guardian, the Independent and the Observer, Bryan will be sharing his knowledge with visitors to this
year's Ecobuild.
